How to get to Iglesias

Iglesias is a town on the southwest coast of Sardinia, rich in history and culture, but above all known for having been the center of mining activity on the island. The city is easily accessible from all parts of Sardinia thanks to its excellent location and connections with other major cities.

PLANE

Iglesias is only a 40-minute drive from Cagliari-Elmas airport. The other main airports, Olbia and Alghero, are about a 3-hour drive away.

SHIP

Iglesias is also easily accessible from the Port of Cagliari, which is a three-quarter hour drive away. The other ports, Porto Torres and Olbia, are about a 3-hour drive away.

CAR

From Cagliari: take the SS. 130 towards Iglesias and take the exit at km 47. From Porto Torres-Olbia: take the SS. 131 towards Cagliari, turn onto the SS. 293 until you reach the intersection with the SS. 130.

TRAIN

It is possible to reach Iglesias by train thanks to the well-connected railway station at Cagliari-Elmas airport and the railway station in Cagliari.
